Darryl Genis is a Standardized Field Sobriety Test Instructor, meaning he has successfully completed the course designed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and approved by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). He personally owns and operates all breath testing devices used in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura Counties. This includes the Draeger 7410, the Alco-sensor Mark IV, and the Intoxylizer 5000.
Mr. Genis received his Business and English Degrees from Loyola Marymount University in 1978. He earned his Juris Doctor (law degree) in 1980 from the Southwestern University School of Law and admitted to the California State Bar in November 1980.
